An annual men's Twenty20 cricket league called the Indian Premier League is played in India. Ten franchise teams from cities compete in the competition. The league was started in 2007 by the BCCI. Every year, the competition is typically conducted in the summer, between March and May.

 

In 2022, two new teams will compete in the IPLT20. With elite players, the recently founded Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants want to be at the top. Once the 2024 IPL begins, the point table will be changed, raising the excitement to a whole new level. In this format of game the top four teams progressing to the knockout stage after the group stage.
